| Abstract: | ゼニゴケは，陸上植物の進化を考える上では基部陸上植物の1つとして鍵となる存在である．近年，形質転換法やゲノム情報などの分子生物学的ツールが整備され，実験生物として注目されはじめている．新たなモデル植物としてのゼニゴケの特性を紹介しつつ，その基本的な扱いについて紹介する． | | The liverwort Marchantia polymorpha L. is one of the basal land plants that occupies a key position in the evolutionary tree of land plants. This inconspicuous plant is easy to grow, cross, and transform, and its genomic resource is being accumulated, which has made it an emerging model plant. Here we describe basic protocols to culture, cross, and store M. polymorpha plants and cultured cells. |
