Abstract: フィコビリソームはシアノバクテリア,灰色藻,紅藻に広く存在するフィコビリタンパク質の集光超分子複合体で,光エネルギーの捕集と光環境への順化,分配や貯蔵タンパク質として重要な役割を果たしているが,まだ不明な点が多い.
Phycobilisome is a light harvesting-supercomplex in rhodophytes, glaucocystophytes and cyanobacteria. It is located on the thylakoid membrane and transfers light energy to photosystems. In this chapter, we introduce methods of its isolation and analysis in cyanobacteria and glaucocystophytes. The protocol of the complementary chromatic adaptation (acclimation) was also described.
