| Abstract: | 本提案は、Idea Competition for the Fukaya Communication Site, the U.S. Military Installation in Yokohama（深谷通信所跡地利用アイデアコンペ）へ応募し、Professional Category Excellence Award（専門部門・佳作）を受賞したものである。当該コンペへは、一般部門199件・専門部門154件の計353件、海外8カ国からの応募があった。本提案では、社会・文化・経済・環境の様々な資源を、局所的な負荷や歪みを生じさせることなく、時代ごとに地球全体の系として最適なバランスに保つこと（＝neutral）を目指した、ある土地における広義の景観を構成する諸要素とそのデザイン（＝landscape）として、ニュートラル・ランドスケープ（NEUTRAL LANDSCAPE）という新しい概念を提唱し、“必要なこと・もの”を“必要なだけ”による質の高い定常型社会／環境の構築を目指した。2段階で実施された審査では、「ニュートラル・ランドスケープというテーマに即した分析を綿密に行い、優れた表現力で長期に渡るシナリオを提案している」点が高く評価された。 |
