| Abstract: | In 1877, research on the natural history and archeology of the Rishiri & Rebun islands started by staffs and students of the Sapporo Agricultural College. The specimens and the materials which they collected are important to the culture of the islands. Unfortunately, we cannot use them, because the results of investigation did not been published. This article introduces the historical information of the specimens and the materials which are housed in the Hokkaido University Natural History Museum in the University Botanic Garden (former Museum of Sapporo Agricultural College). |
