Abstract: 日本語の迷惑受け身文の特徴を考察する。それにより迷惑受け身文のプロトタイプを設定する。それらの特徴は1)主文に現れる、2)人称制限がある、3)恩恵を表す「~てもらう」とペアをなす、4)受け身の行為者は「~に」で表される、5)行為性の述語である、ということが挙げられる。以上のことから迷惑受け身はモーダルな要素であると結論付け、従来のモダリティーの枠組みに疑問を投げかける。
In order to better understand the adversative passive in Japanese, this papaer establishes a prototype of this kind of Japanese passive sentence. First of all, the adversative passive appears in the main clause, not in a subordinate clause, with a restriction on subject nouns. The agent of the action in this construction is expressed with the particle NI, not with NIYOTTE, which usually appears in neutral passive sentences. Adversative passive sentences are parallel to TE MORAU benefactive sentences; when they are generated, one new argument is added to their original simple sentences : A-ga B-wo suru → C-wa A-ni B-wo shite-morau / sareru They show the same restrictions on their subject nominatives selected. Adversative passive sentences and TE MORAU sentences express no benefactive result and benefactive result of an action respectively. Finally it is suggested that the adversative passive forms a part of MODALITY expressions in Japanese.
