Abstract: We have proposed and developed a squid-like robot "IKABO" for Hakodate sightseeing promotion. We have designed not only the robot itself (hardware and software) but also intellectual production system, education system and local contribution system in Hakodate. We think the robot can be a new communication tool to connect Hakodate with the world.
