| Abstract: | 本研究が対象事例として注目する群馬県前橋市の中心市街地では、商店街の遊休不動産を利用して、民間非営利の市民集団やアーティストが、趣味縁やアートの拠点を構える動きが見られるようになった。本稿は、従来は社会学の領域で扱われてきた趣味縁を、概念の系譜を再確認し、そのうえでまちづくりの文脈において捉え直し、新たな理論的視座を提供することを目的とする経験的研究である。 | | This experimental study attempts to explore practical ways to restructure and maintain the vitality of Central Town Areas through art or leisure activities. It employs the qualitative research approaches of participant observation, hearing investigations and analytical examinations to focus on the case of "Maebashi MARUMARUBU" of Maebashi, Gunma. The study utilizes empirical research in an attempt to provide a new theoretical perspective to research on hubs of leisure activity by reconsidering such studies within the context of City Planning. |
