| Abstract: | はじめに: 近年ベトナムでは、諸外国との交流が進み、近代化が図られている。著者らの所属する岡山大学とフエ大学は、農業と環境分野の共同大学院修士課程コースを2007年に発足させ、学術教育交流を進めている。ベトナムは、米の生産量世界第5位、輸出量世界第2位の稲作大国であり、その概要を2010年7月号の本誌1)に紹介した。北部の紅河デルタ地帯や南部のメコンデルタ地帯は、広大な農地の広がる主要な米生産地である。それに比べて、ラオスとの国境を形成する山脈と南シナ海に挟まれた中部は、平地が少ない。しかし、この地域においても農業は、人々の生活を支える重要な産業であり、その持続的な発展が、豊かな社会の形成に不可欠である。ここでは、古都フエとフエ大学の位置するベトナム中部フエ県における農業と水利を概観する。 |
