| Abstract: | 中川町琴平地区にある中川研究林内第103林班を源とする琴平川は、以前にはサケが遡上していたが、近年河川内に工作物設置が行われ、遡上ができない状態となっていた。この琴平川において、サケ稚魚を放流し、同時に河川内工作物を改変し、回帰させる試みが、水圏ステーション、森林圏ステーション、独立行政法人 水産総合センターさけますセンターの共同研究として2005年度から実施されることとなった。サケの放流および回帰調査に関しては、美深町にある独立行政法人 水産総合センターさけますセンター天塩事業所（さけますセンター天塩事業所）の指導を仰ぎながら、北管理部および中川研究林職員で実施してきたので、その様子および3年間の調査結果について報告する。 |
