| Abstract: | 苫小牧研究林では樹木園を整備して市民に開放しています。樹木園は研究林の顔であり、市民の憩いの場や、小中学生の自然教育などに利用されています。利用者の正確な数は不明ですが、年間数万人が樹木園を利用していると思われます。樹木園は1982年より整備を始め、一般開放から二十数年が過ぎました。研究林を取り巻く諸事情も変化し、樹木園内の施設も老朽化が進んできました。この報告では、私たちが行ってきた樹木園の整備と維持管理について紹介します。 |
