| Abstract: | 天塩研究林は2001年から（独）国立環境研究所、ならびに（株）北海道電力と共同で「カラマツ林の炭素循環機能に関する観測研究」を行っている。このプロジェクト研究の目的は、カラマツ若齢林の育林過程における炭素循環機能を集水域レベルで評価することにある。これに関連して1)針広混交林の炭素蓄積量評価、2)更新方法が炭素固定機能に与える影響評価、3)流域スケールの水・物質循環、4)リモートセンシングによる広域炭素収支の評価などといったサブプロジェクトも同時に立ち上げており、カラマツに限らず森林流域の物質循環過程を総合的に解明する事をも視野においている。このサブプロジェクトの一つである針広混交林の炭素蓄積量評価については、過去に本誌でその調査状況等を報告してきた。今回、それらの調査結果がまとまったので、本稿では2005年に行った調査結果と合わせて報告する。 |
