Abstract:	近年、方解石にとってかわる偏光子用の材料としてルチル(TiO2)が注目を集めつつある。ルチルの単結晶は、従来ベルヌーイ法によって育成されてきた。しかし、光学材料として利用できる程度の高品質結晶を再現性良く育成するためにはあまり良い方法であるとはいえない。今回、我々はFZ法により高品質のルチル単結晶を育成するとともに、新たなる知見を得たので報告する。
