Abstract: In order to take multiple behavior of both mobile and immobile dislocations into account, Reaction-Diffusion equation is employed and a stress-strain curve is calculated. Characteristic three stages of a stress-strain curve are reproduced. The serration observed in the early stage of the deformation is interpreted based on the microscopic inhomogeneous multiplication process of dislocations leading to self-organization.
