| Abstract: | 橫井小楠と橋本左内は、時期は異なるが、越前福井藩の藩校明道館の改革に關わった點においては共通の經歷を有している。しかし、共に開國主義を唱えた開明的な思想家でありながら、その開明性の意味するところは、それぞれ大きく異なっている。一方、小楠は、實學を重視する儒敎的經世論から出發し、自由な討論による講習・講學を重視し、早くから東洋と西洋に通じる普遍的な價値の存在を認めていた。この點において、左内と小楠の學校論における基本的な視點の相違を認めることができる。 |
