| Abstract: | 盲学校・視覚特別支援学校と連携して、新規学習プログラムの開発実践を行い、視覚に障がいをもつ児童生徒のニーズに応える学習プログラムの充実を図った。「さわる」などの実感をともなって博物館で学ぶプログラムとして、『ミュージアム・タイムトラベル─太古の地球さがし─』を開発し検討した。2018 年1 月に、盲学校にて博物館の実物化石をもちいた出前授業を行い、その2 週間後の2 月に、博物館での見学（触察）学習を行った。実施直後に生徒、教員、博物館スタッフから感想を寄せてもらい、さらに、元盲学校教諭からプログラム改善点等のフィードバックをもらった。時間の余裕を見込む、プログラムの最初に全体像を把握する時間を保障する、さわる標本及び展示の精選といった点が評価された。一方で、触察による観察においては、「触察と対話」が重要であり、触察だけでなく、触察直後にペアの相手と言葉を交わしたり、触った際のお互いの思いをしっかり共有したりする時間を確保することが、今後の課題である。 | | We developed and implemented the museum program, which was entitled “Museum time travel: Explore the ancient Earth”, for a special-needs education school for the visually impaired. First, the outreach lecture of the museum was conducted at the blind school in January 2018. Second, the students visited the museum and joined this program in February 2018. After the program, we obtained feedback from the students, the teachers and the museum staff. Also, the visually impaired education expert observed this field visit and gave us some advice. Planning for time to spare, guaranteeing time at the beginning of the program to first get the big picture, and careful selection of touchable specimens and exhibitions were valuable points. “Touching and dialogue” is very important in haptic observation, so it is necessary to secure time for exchanging words with a partner immediately after touching specimens and
exhibitions and for sharing thoughts on hands-on experience with each other. |
