| Abstract: | 本評価ツールは、これまで明確な指針がなかったフィールドチェックのより効果的な
実施を支援することを目的とし、トイレへの移動と設備自体の利用を含んだアクセシ
ビリティを評価対象とするものである。高齢者や障害者にとって外出時に要となる公
共的トイレに着目し、実際の利用に即したかたちで有効に利用できるかを判断する立
場から、アクションリサーチを通じて開発されたものである。 | | The purpose of this research is to invention of the evaluation tool for accessibility of public restrooms. We reviewed laws and guidelines for the barrier-free design in Japan and the United States, and also conducted the field check about the usability of public spaces. For considering the public capacity which is the accessibility as a seamless environment for persons' stay downtown, we designed the check card, a book of how to use and icon seal. We devised the support tool of the field check to examine whether or not restrooms meet users' needs in daily life based on these surveys. |
