Abstract: | This essay locates formations of landscape not in processes making single objects but in wholeness consisted by many shapes; and considered how to study constituting these ‘esthetical’ values as cultural processes. In landscape design, concerning the concept of 'culture' has made by searching its 'modernized' method. But respecting such concept of 'culture', it could be not evaluate the creative values of designed landscape shapes. So this essay noticed the concept of 'practice' in the context of cultural anthropology. In designing processes, each designer is 'practicing' and these processes are generated by many issues. Hence in considering them, this essay suggests actor-network theory as available method; and considered how to apply landscape design processes by giving some exemption. |
