| Abstract: | 顔の記憶の正確さにかかわる変数としては, （1）目撃伏況（明るさ・距離・目撃時間など目撃対象の知覚にかかわる変数や, 目撃者の情動レベル等）, （2）記憶の保持状況（目撃から供述までの時間の長さや干渉材料の有無等）, （3）想起方法（どのような条件, 手続きで顔の識別を行ったか等）などがある。本稿では, 想起方法, 特に顔の記憶に及ぽす繰り返し再認の効果について, 筆者らが行った研究を紹介する。多くの顔写真を何度も呈示し再認を求めると, 顔の記憶に干渉が起こり, 顔の記憶に対するメタ認知が低下し, またソース・モニタリングの失敗が生じることを示した。 |
