| Abstract: | 本研究の目的は、日本語初級クラスにおいて教師の質問がどのように学習者の発話を引き出しているかを明らかにすることである。発話資料は日本語集中コースでテープレコーダーとビデオカメラで採録された。教師の質問はreferential question（RQ）とdisplay question（DQ）に分類された。さらに、教師が学習者に内容と相手を指示して質問させるものに、代行referentialb question（代行RQ）という分類を設けた。資料から、質問の分類別の頻度と、質問によって引き出される学習者の発話において、学習項目となる文型がどのように現れているかを分析した。その結果、資料中でRQの頻度が最も高かった。また、質問の発話に比べ、質問によって引き出された学習者の発話の中では、言語項目の省略がより多く見られた。最後に、DQはRQ・代行RQと比べ、異なる教室活動で用いられていることが明らかになった。 | | The purpose of this study is to examine how a teacher's questions elicit learners' output in a Japanese class at beginning level. The data was recorded in the classroom of a Japanese intensive course using taperecorders and a video camera. The teacher's questions were grouped into RQs (referential questions) and DQs (display questions). Learner's RQs instructed by the teacher were categorized as deputized RQs. The findings are that (1) RQs showed the highest frequency, compared to other questions; (2) constituents were omitted more frequently in leaners' answers than in questions; (3) DQs were used in different contexts of activity from RQs and deputized RQs. |
