| Abstract: | 本稿では一般の日本人が外国人の日本語が「上手になった」と評価する時の基準を調べ、日本語教育機関で用いられている到達度的試験の評価基準と比べてみた。また、一般日本人と日本語教師による上達度の評価基準とその判定結果に差異があるのか、についても調べた。調査方法としては、一般日本人と日本語教師に日本語学習者が異なる時期に行った2つのロールプレイの優劣を判定してもらい、自由にその理由をあげてもらった。調査の結果、上達度を計る場合の一般日本人の評価基準は文法・語彙・表現、音声、非言語、会話運用能力、内容、社会的言語表現の順に重きを置いて評価していることがわかった。この中の非言語の評価項目は到達度的試験の評価基準には設定されていないことが多い。日本語教師は一般日本人よりさらに文法・語彙・表現などの言語的側面に注目しており非言語面に対する視点は少なかった。 | | This study is concerned with the evaluation of progress during the process of learning a second language and, in particular, with differences in the criteria of progress as evaluated by Japanese language teachers and ordinary Japanese speakers. The study is based on the comments of Japanese language teachers and ordinary Japanese speakers concerning two role plays performed by Japanese learners on different dates. The main results obtained are as follows: (1) For ordinary Japanese speakers, non-verbal aspects of communication are important as well as verbal aspects. (2) Japanese language teachers on the whole have a tendency to place emphasis on linguistic expression. |
