Abstract: 水のポリアモルフィズムを理解するために, 水の過冷却液体やアモルファス氷に関する研究が進められてきた. 特に, ポリアモルフィズムの兆候を示す2種類のアモルファス氷の実験的研究は活発に進められてきた. しかし, アモルファス氷は常に非平衡状態下にあるため, アモルファス氷から得られた情報は十分に注意して取り扱う必要がある. 本研究では, アモルファス氷の加圧による構造緩和と昇温による構造緩和について実験的に調べ, 構造緩和とポリアモルフィック転移の違いを明確に示した.
In order to understand the water polyamorphism, many researchers have been studied the super-cooled liquid water and the amorphous ices. In particular, the experimental studies of the two kinds of amorphous ice, low-density and high-density amorphous ices, which exhibit the polyamorphic phenomena, have been performed actively. However, it is necessary to deal carefully with the experimental information obtained from amorphous ices, because the amorphous ices are always under non-equilibrium conditions. In this study, we examine the polyamorphic transition and the structural relaxation of amorphous ices by the isothermal compression and clarify the differences between the polyamorphic transition and the structural relaxation of general glassy materials.
