| Abstract: | 本稿は修士論文の一部を抜粋したものである。本稿では，平安時代の言葉
の一面を反映する『枕草子』を主な資料とし，平安時代の感覚・感情形容詞
の使用状況，意味用法，意味変化及び語の消滅などの実態を記述する。
日本語形容詞の分類について，語尾の活用から「イ形容詞」，「ナ形容詞」
（形容動詞）のような形態上の分類と性質，意味上からの分類がある。性質，
意味上からの分類にはいろいろな説があるが，感情・属性の二分類が広く行
われてきた。すなわち，客観的な性質，状態を表すものは「属性形容詞」，人
間の主観的な感覚，感情を表すものは「感情形容詞」と呼ばれる。平安時代
の文学作品に使われる感覚・感情形容詞に関して，従来多くの研究がなされ
てきたが，管見では，感覚形容詞の意味用法及び感覚・感情形容詞全体の数
量的な把握については，まだ十分に検討されていない。したがって，本稿で
は，先行研究を踏まえ，『枕草子』を研究資料として，平安文学作品における
感覚・感情形容詞全体の使用状況，語義や用法，意味変遷などについて考察
してゆく。 |
