Abstract: We theoretically demonstrate the inclusive and semiexclusive spectra in the He-3 (K (-), pi (a")) reactions at 600 MeV/c (4A degrees) within a distorted-wave impulse approximation, using a coupled (2N - I >) + (2N - I ) pound model with a spreading potential. It is shown that a signal of a quasibound state is clearly observed near the I pound threshold in the pi (-) spectrum, whereas a peak of a quasibound state is relatively reduced in the pi (+) spectrum. The mechanism of I pound production for these spectra is discussed.
