| Abstract: | 『善の研究』と『場所的論理と宗教的世界観』は，西田幾多郎の最初期と最後期の論文である。この二つの論文の刊行時期は三十年以上離れているが，「宗教を説明する」という一貫した主題を持っている。本稿はこのことを手がかりにして，その二つの論文を比較し，それらの内在的な関係を明らかにしたい。まず，『善の研究』の第四編において，「純粋経験」という原理にしたがって宗教を説明する方法には，哲学と宗教を混同する危険があることを示す。次に，『善の研究』を『場所的論理と宗教的世界観』と比較し，この二つの論文の異同を明らかにする。最後に，『場所的論理と宗教的世界観』において西田は，宗教の独自性を保ちながらそれを説明するために，「逆対応」という概念を用いて，宗教自身の論理に主眼をおいていることを示す。 |
