| Abstract: | 日本語・日本文化研修留学生制度は、日本国外で日本語・日本文化を専攻する学部学生が原則として1年間日本の大学に留学するものである。2019年現在、全国73大学において大使館推薦国費留学生を中心に受け入れが行われている。北海道大学では、1981年から受け入れが始まり、その後、言語文化部に日本語・日本文化研修コース（本稿では修了要件を備えた一連の科目群を「コース」と称する）が設置された。1991年に留学生センターが設置されて以降、数回の制度改革を経て、2019年現在、1年コース定員40名、半年コース定員各期20名、年間合計定員80名と、日本語・日本文化研修プログラムとしては全国最大の規模の受け入れを行っている。この制度改革には、北海道大学における留学生教育受け入れ制度の変化・協定大学との学生交流強化・カリキュラムおよび履修科目の見直し・内規改訂など様々な側面がある。本稿では、資料にもとづいて北海道大学における日本語・日本文化研修プログラムの変遷と制度改編について詳述し、北海道大学における日本語教育の歴史的変遷、および日本語・日本文化コースの展望について考察する。 | | This paper aims to describe the reorganization of the Japanese Language and Culture Study Program (JLCSP) in Hokkaido University and to suggest possibilities that come from it. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan offers scholarships to international students who wish to study for a period of one year at designated Japanese universities as “Japanese Studies Students” in order to deepen their understanding of the Japanese language, Japanese affairs and Japanese culture. Hokkaido University began to accept the “Japanese Studies Student” in 1981 and established the “Japanese Language and Culture Study Program” focusing on student exchange through several reorganizations. The program is affected by politics of Japan and the university and so on. There are different types of “Japanese Studies Students” in Japanese universities and some universities struggle with managing the program. Now JLCSP of Hokkaido University has 40 students for the 1 year course and 20 students for the half year course: 80 students in total per year. It is the biggest “Japanese Studies Students” program in Japan and has a unique character and history, which this paper explores. |
