Abstract: In January 2020, we participated in the Design Thinking training organized by Stanford University d.school. The following is an overview of this five-day training program. The main difference from the ordinary problem based learning (PBL) is that the students interview the people involved. We will not only think of solutions, but also create prototypes to show concrete examples. Finally, using the prototypes made, we further interview the people involved about the good and bad of the solution. Based on the results of the interviews, the project ends with further revisions and development of the idea. We suppose that Design Thinking will be widely used in the field of education in universities as an advanced method of PBL.
